About the Internship

We are looking for passionate and self-driven Software Developer Interns who are eager to build modern cloud-native applications and contribute to real-world software products.
As a Software Developer Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers, architects, and product teams to develop scalable applications, APIs, automation tools, and platform capabilities that power our SaaS products and cloud solutions.
This internship provides hands-on exposure to modern software engineering practices, cloud-native development, DevOps, databases, APIs, and AI-assisted development workflows.
This is an excellent opportunity for students who aspire to build careers in Software Engineering, Product Development, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or AI-powered application development.


Learning Areas & Responsibilities

Software Development

  • Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying new features for Tevico and internal applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
  • Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and code refactoring activities.
  • Contribute to software quality through testing and continuous improvement.

Cloud-Native Application Development

  • Learn and contribute to cloud-native application architectures.
  • Develop and enhance backend services, APIs, and microservices.
  • Work with scalable cloud-based systems deployed on AWS.
  • Understand distributed systems and modern application design principles.

APIs & Integration Development

  • Build and enhance REST APIs and service integrations.
  • Work with authentication, authorization, and API security concepts.
  • Assist in integrating applications with internal and external systems.

Databases & Data Management

  • Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Gain exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
  • Learn database design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning concepts.
  • Understand data modeling and storage strategies.

DevOps & Engineering Excellence

  • Use Git and modern version control practices.
  • Gain exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Work with Docker containers and cloud-native deployment models.

Required Qualifications

  • Recently completed a Bachelor's degree (B.E. or B. Tech.) in:
    • Computer Science
    • Information Technology
    • Computer Engineering
    • Electronics & Telecommunications
    • Related Engineering disciplines
  • Strong programming fundamentals and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts.
  • Good understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for software development and continuous learning.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Exposure to:
    • Java Spring Boot
    • Angular / React

  • Familiarity with REST APIs and web application development.
  • Understanding of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
